We visited four senior high schools in Kumasi, Ghana, i.e., Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Senior High, St. George Catholic Senior High Technical, Kwasi Oppong Senior High and Kumasi Wesley Girls Senior High. Together with a team of 12 volunteers specialized in different STEM programs ranging from Mechanical engineering, statistics, agriculture to midwifery we conducted a 1-day STEM and professional development workshop in each school and donated a scientific microscope.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the EGF executive board, advisors, volunteers and donors for their contribution to making this outreach a success. We are excited to share that we reached over 1200 students in the four schools and received heartwarming feedback from the students and teachers on how they were inspired by the outreach.
